Industry Institute Partnership (IIPC) Cell

The Cell, established in 2003 with financial support from AICTE aims at effective, frequent and mutually beneficial interactions with Industry and establishing and exploring proper links with agencies and industries for the development of the Institute.

IIP Cell- Objectives                                                                                 

·         To promote, coordinate and maintain Consultancy Services, and to establish and explore proper links with departments, agencies and industries.

·         To encourage Industry to collaborate in Industry Study Tour Programme (ISTP) / Intern-ship Programme.

·         To encourage industry and organizations for placement and training of students in Industries.

·         To support R&D programmes, sponsored and joint R&D projects from industries, in the Institute.

·         To conduct Industrial Training and Industrial Visits for the students and faculty. To conduct industrial exhibitions to highlight research facilities and expertise available with the Institute.

·         To Maintain and distribute funds obtained from Consultancy Services for strengthening the Institute.

·         To encourage training of Industrial personnel in the Institute, exchange of personnel between the Industries and Institute by organizing guest lectures by Industrial experts, evaluation of project work, development of curriculam as per industry needs and other academic work in the Institute.

·         To generate funds from industry/other agencies for maintenance and development of the cell.

  IIP Cell- Activities                                                                                

·         Establishing and exploring proper links with agencies and industries for the development of the Institute.

·         To work in close coordination with the industries and organization for placement and training of the students.

·         Supporting R&D and sponsored projects from industries, in the Institute

·         Conducting Industrial tours, visits and training for students and faculty.

·         Conducting Industrial and Technical Exhibitions.

·         Organizing guest lectures on latest technological advancements, evaluation of project work, and workshops from industrial experts in the Institute.
