Eligibility Criteria for B. Tech. (Admission in Ist Year Engineering):
10+2 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics/Computer Science/Biology/Biotechnology as subjects.
Admission Process:
Through AIEEE and counselling conducted by UTU, Dehradun in the month of July every year.
Eligibility Criteria for B. Tech. (Admission in IInd Year Engineering):
The Candidate should have passed Diploma Course in Engineering / Technology of three year duration or more from state Board of Technical Education or its equivalent Diploma Examination.

Minimum 60% or equivalent grade in B.E. /B. Tech in Electronics & Communication Engg /Electronics Engg. /Electrical Engg. /Instrumentation Engg. / Instrumentation & Control Engg/Computer Science & Engg/M. Sc.(Electronics).

Admission & Counseling for admission to M.Tech. (Digital Signal Processing) course is processed by the Uttarakhand Technical University, Dehradun. .
Eligibility Criteria for M.Tech.(Bio-Tech.):
Minimum 60% or equivalent grade in B.E/ B. Tech. in Biotechnology/ Industrial Biotechnology/Biochemical Engg. /Biomedical Engg. or B. Pharma or B. V. Sc./Agriculture/ Home Science or MBBS or M. Sc. in Life Sciences/ Biotechnology/Biochemistry/ Microbiology/ Chemistry/ Genetics/ Bioinformatics/ Environment Science/Allied streams with suitable exposure to Biological aspects
