Department of Biotechnology

(final Page under construction....)

There is a vast scope of growth in the Uttarakhand state by using biotechnological skills in view of the economic backwardness of the region despite being located in the midst of enormous natural resources (both biological and non-biological). To achieve this there is need to process the natural resources through biotechnological tool and techniques. This involves; skilled human resources, harnessing the local entrepreneurship, community development network – focusing on smaller units, thus, offering an ample scope for employment generation at every stage, and promoting the public-private-partnership.
