M.TECH DISSRETATION

      The GBPEC students pursing Master's programme have to perform Dissertation as per the curriculum of AICTE. The duration of Dissertation is Full one year where they have to choose a topic covering fields like Biochemistry, Microbiology, Cell Biology, Immunology, Cancer biology, Bioinformatics etc. and have to work accordingly.

      The students have shown great enthusiassum and covered most of the fields of Biotechnology like molecular biology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, Bioinformatics etc. All the Dissertation work is performed here in GBPEC, in their respective well furnished labs equipped with various instruments necessary for Dissertation. The major topics for Dissertations were:-

• Bioactive peptide from cereal and pulses


• Genetic variability in the Cprm of dengue virus type 1 (DENV-1) circulating in Delhi.


• Purification of Mycobacterial proteins by affinity chromatography.


• Assessment of estrogenic potential of endosulfan


• Molecular characterization and bacterial expression of PMIT gene from tomato.etc
