5^th Sep, 2009. Teacher’s day Celebration at GBPEC Pauri

As previous year the Teacher’s day was celebrated in the College with paying regards to the teachers. The event was conducted by the ISTE GBPEC Chapter.

Details of the event

· The event was inaugurated at M.G. Auditorium with the lamp lightening by Mr. V.M.Thakkar O/c ISTE GBPEC Chapter, followed by an enchanting vandana performed by 2^nd and 3^rd year students.

· After vandana Mr. V.M.Thakkar was requested to inaugurate theevent and give a brief idea about personality development program in the college and ISTE’s role in all round development of students.

· A paper presentation was presented by Shushand Ghildiyal, ECE 3^rd year on the life and achievements of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan.

· The event continues with a six solo dance performances, followed by a group discussion.

· Mr. Sanjeev Naithani Lecturer ECE,shared his thoughts on teacher student relationship and need to develop the understanding between the two. The event was followed by a group dance performance.

· Meanwhilethe judges were busy in preparing the results of the different competitions, a beautiful song was presented by Nishant CE 3^rd yr.

· Then results were declared by Cultural Secretary Ms. Urvashi srivastava EE 3^rd Year. The Prizes were distributed to students by Mr. V.M.Thakkar, Mr. V. M. Mishra and Dr. B. K. Kaushik.

· At the end of the event a vote of thanks was delivered by Yasir kazmi (Chairman, students’ chapter G.B.P.E.C. Pauri.) CE3^rd year.
