Sub: Counseling letter for M. Tech. program 2010-11.
Dear Candidate,
This has reference to your application for admission to M. Tech. Program for session 2010-11 in this Institute. You are required to present yourself before the counseling committee in the MG Auditorium of this Institute on 16 August 2010 at 9.30 AM. You will be permitted to appear in the counseling only if you have the following documents:
- All original certificates/mark sheets starting high school onwards.
- At the time of counseling, you must have final mark sheet of qualifying examination failing to which you will not allowed to appear in the counseling.
- Character certificate from the Institute last attended.
- Domicile certificate of Uttarakhand State in original, if applicable.
- SC/ST/OBC Caste certificate in original, if applicable.
- Valid NET/GATE Score card in original, if applicable.
- Sponsorship/leave certificate from the organization in original, if applicable.
- A set of attested photocopies of all aforesaid documents.

Demand draft/cash of Rs. 1000/- (Rs. One thousand only) as counseling fee (non-refundable) in favour of the Principal, G. B. Pant Engg. College, Pauri Garhwal, payable at Pauri.

Selected candidate have to deposit college fee on next day (i.e. 17 Aug 2010). For this, candidates are required to bring a demand draft/cash of Rs. 26,195/- (Rs. Twenty six thousand one hundred ninety five only) as first semester college fee in favour of the Principal, G. B. Pant Engg. College, Pauri Garhwal, payable at Pauri. Hostel and mess fee will have to be paid at the time of registration on 23 August 2010.
This Institute is situated in hilly terrain approx. 100 Km from Rishikesh and 115 Km from Kotdwara. It may be noted that there are limited public vehicles available in afternoon from Rishikesh/Kotdwara to Pauri. Candidates are advised to reach Pauri in one day advance. The candidate will make their own arrangements for stay at Pauri. Since the weather at Pauri is slightly cold compare to planes, the candidates are advised to bring woolen cloths accordingly.
You may be required to overstay for another day if the counseling is not completed in the same day.
No TA/DA will be paid for attending the counseling. If you fail to turn up, your candidature for admission will be cancelled. The chance will be offered to the next candidate in the merit list. This letter doesn’t mean a call for admission to aforesaid program.
